Jul 8, 2019 12:00:00 PM / by Kelsey Batt

Kick back your feet and relax... you made it through another school year! Summer is the perfect time for renewal and rejuvenationโ€” the days are longer and life is simpler.

Here are a couple ways we can stay on top of things and make the most of the final summer months:

  • pack a picnic lunch
  • try new recipes
  • learn a new game or review checkers and chess
  • enjoy a new local park
  • visit your parents or grandparents
  • walk the dog
  • go to a pottery studio
  • visit a coffee shop and plan out your goals
  • begin a journal or bullet journal
  • check out the local yoga studio
  • volunteer at the animal shelter
  • go to the lake
  • wander through a museum
  • write a letter or a send a postcard
  • visit the drive-in theater (if you can still find one!)
  • dig out the jump ropes and work your way up to double Dutch
  • pick berries at a local farm
  • plant a garden

Enjoy these activities and share the fun online using the hashtag #STEMsummer
